It has been a long time since I have done anything with the Sims 2. My harddrive, motherboard and heatsink all went bad on my laptop, and the new laptop I ordered in August, is still on backorder.
Thank the Gods that I bought a Best Buy Black Tie Protection for my laptop. They just replaced everything, reintalled my OS and all the updates, as well as removed all the original Bloatware that was preloaded on my computer.
I am very happy to announce, that I BACKED UP ALL MY FILES prior to taking it in for service. And I now have internet at home! Very excited because I haven't had internet at home for three years since I got laid off from my last job. So today, I had time to install a couple of files, but none of my games or content.
Additionally, I will be hearing shortly about a medical leave to have some surgery on my rotator cuff due to a work accident. I am hoping that I will be able to work some on my Sims until then and possibly post something to share with everyone. But I am not making any promises.
In the meantime, let me know if any of my links are bad. I have so much catching up to do with all my Sims sites and Sims friends.
I am on facebook, playing The Sims Social, which has been pretty fun. Reminds me of a combination of the Sims Online Beta and The Sims.
