Cherry Blossoming . . .
Apr. 28th, 2011 08:04 pmI love Cherry Blossoms and beautiful Japanese designs. When I was a child, my mother had our home decorated with all sorts of Japanese and Asian paintings and deco. I especially loved rubbing Ho-Ti's belly for luck and admiring the Shinto Priestess doll inside a glass bottle that was on our fireplace mantle.
So since it is spring, and I have been so worried about the people surviving the disasters Japan, I started recoloring the EA Sims 2 Store Asian Fusion set in white and Maxis Match.

I have uploaded the entire set as one .RAR file. Each item is clearly labeled so you can delete items/recolors you don't like.
First, I took each of the rugs and the door patterns and applied them to the rest of the items. I also separately recolored all the wood to be white. The white wood is separate from any cushion recolors, so you can just keep the white files if you don't want cushions, and vice versa. All white items come with silver handles/knobs. I have also recolored all the metal separately if you would like different handle colors.
In order for this set to function, you will need the Asian Fusion Repositoried meshes from here to make my recolors work.
Now, onto pictures.
Bamboo, made to match the bamboo screen door.

Cherry, made to match the cherry screen door.

Black swirl, to match the black swirl rug.

Disk, to match the disk rug, the plain black sofa is NOT included. The texture was yucky so I deleted it!

Green to match the green rug.

Finally, Red to match the red rug.

I also did some recolors of the plants and sculptures.

Here are examples of the colors I used for all the metal knobs and ornamentation.
Copper and Copper Dark

Silver and Silver Dark
(Silver is tied to the white wood)

Verdigris Dark and Verdigris

Enjoy!
